Stride Education has a proud history of providing wellbeing and resilience programs which have made a real difference in the lives of young people. Our signature workshops are delivered in primary and secondary schools across Australia. One of our workshops which has the most impact is “Supportive Friends”, it teaches young people how to identify, approach and listen with empathy to a friend who is going through an issue.
“It taught me how to be a great friend but to not change who I am at the same time”
Currently the Stride Education programs are in more demand across Australia now more than ever. There is an immediate need for social connection, friendship and support. We have students, teachers and parents/carers waiting for programs like our “Supportive Friends” to provide the skills young people need to cope.
What do we need?
We need your help to provide the intensive training, screening and monitoring required of a Stride Education professional facilitator.
Your donation will help us to train more Facilitators to deliver programs that will enable children to engage and empower themselves.
When so many young people are facing fear and physical isolation, it is essential that we find ways to connect and share our expertise in resilience and wellbeing programs. Young people need to know that they are listened to, they are valued and they can make it.
Every donation, big or small, combines to make a real difference.
