PACTs is offered as a train the trainer PD. The training and resources provided equips participants to facilitate the PACTs program in their school or community setting.
About the training
Stride’s trained and experienced facilitators can provide the PACTs program directly to parents within the school or as a professional development program for teachers and wellbeing staff. Detailed resource material is provided for the continuation of the program and to reiterate learning outcomes. The PACTs program can be run at both primary and secondary school levels.
PACTs are free workshops developed to provide parents with up-to-date information and resources about educational pathways. These workshops enable parents to support their children effectively when making career transition decisions within the secondary school system and beyond.
PACTs provides tips and advice about communicating with young people about careers and future decisions. Also covering pathways/education/training; information about the Senior School Certificates, Vocational Education and Training (VET) and School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBAT) program.

After completing the training PACTs Facilitators can obtain PACTs Resources each year for updated Career and Transition materials relevant to their state. This also gives access to updated National PACTs Resources.
